Who is Nobody?

So funny! Tonight I was in my basement--still organizing and cleaning from the flood (and my overabundance of craft related items). Reed is at PH session of conference and the kids are all supposedly in bed. I start to hear someone moving around upstairs. I waited and listened for a little--thinking it was one of the boys getting a drink or something. But also thinking that they know they should be in bed--and after bedtime is NOT the best time to mess with mom at our house.

Anyway, it kept going on and on. Finally, I called up "Who's up?" Really I was thinking this would make the unknown boy head up to bed, but I actually got an answer--"Nobody", was the reply followed closely by the pitter patter of mid-size feet heading upstairs. Now, for future reference, "Nobody" sounds a lot like my Collin!

This really made me laugh. Maybe it was just my house growing up, but my parents swore that our answer to everything was "nobody". It was always a mystery who had left the lights on, finished the milk, snuck into the special treats, gotten hairspray or makeup all over--and on and on.

And just by way of info--"Nobody" seems to really like candy corn as my halloween cauldron was empty when I came upstairs after my visit from him.

I'll bet that "nobody" is related to "Not Me" that lives at our house.

So funny! For a second there I was afraid you were being robbed or something so I'm glad to here that it was "nobody". Hey, how do you change the color of the font in your posts?

I have a "I dunno" at my house. She could be related to "nobody" and "Not me", maybe we should do some family history.

I love your "nobody" kids- Such a moment that often occurs in my home. Why do I think other kids that do this are cute and mine so naughty? I too like my night moments. It's all I get sometimes.
