Hi Avery,
Mom said that at dinner tonight everyone shared a trait they admire about you as well as their favorite memory with you. So even though I wasn’t there last night, I thought I would share my thoughts.
- The trait I admire most about you is your ability to articulate complex ideas and feelings in a very mature and sophisticated way. You use great words and have a very strong grasp of the English language from a verbal perspective. You have the raw talent to be a great speaker or presenter…and with that winning smile you will be fantastic.
- I have lots of favorite memories, but a couple of mine are—when we went to Del Rio and Mexico together, the nights (when you were a small baby) that we stayed up and watched basketball, and watching learn to dribble a ball with your left hand. For the first 3 months you could talk, everything you saw was a “ball.”
Sorry I missed being there for your birthday, but know I was thinking of you.
