I know it seems like I've stopped blogging--I haven't. I have a ton of photos and things I want to blog--it's been a crazy week. But I did find this quote I've been searching for since my ABC post.
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -marjorie pay hinckley, wife of the prophet.
LOVE IT--but I still like to have my nails and hair done too. :) This is one of my favorite photos of Avery & Easton--scout camp 2006!

Love that quote. I'm going to copy it and put it on my mirror. My favorite book is by Sister Hinckly, and my favorite moto she lived by when speaking of her children was "Save the relationship." Such a cute picture of the boys. I love Easton having no teeth. They look so young.
Get bloggin again.
That is such a cool quote! I am going to copy it too!! How fun that both of your boys can go to scout camp together! How is the home building and selling going? By the way, I CAN NOT believe that your family won't eat the corn bread. It is like cake!
I love the quote so much!! I have to find something fun to do with it.
I love that quote too. I read it on a blog a while ago (a girl I don't even know. What a stalker I am) and copy and pasted it to a Word document so I wouldn't lose it. She's amazing and the quote is so perfect.
Love the pic of the boys. My they are growing up. The boys were pulling out old photos today and found one of Trey and Easton at a birthday party years ago (I think it was at Gattitown) and they were so young. How the time flies!
I meant to write they are growing up too fast. To think that photo was 2006 and here it is 2008. Crazy!
