Just a few randoms:
- Unpacked the last box last week. Found more recipe books that I forgot I had--really good ones too. Maybe I have too many, now going on my third (large) cupboard area with recipe books. But I'm glad I found them. It made me remember when I had time and loved to "read" them while we watched TV at night. Now I don't really watch, I turn it on and fall asleep.
- Still didn't find my iPod. Kept holding out hope that it would be in the very last box. Can't believe it's the only thing missing from the move. Now we are having a major shuffeling of the iPods at our house so I can have music at home. Good thing I've taken up swimming for exercise--no iPods in the pool. Also, another excuse to get the iPhone :)
- Sod and seed went in this week. Totally wondering what we were thinking by not putting in sprinklers (please don't comment about this, it's too soon). My joy at looking out my windows and seeing green close to my house is being tempered by the hours upon hours of figuring out the hoses--but I'm getting closer. Please pray for rain!
- I love Reed. Yes, I know I married him. But today he saved me--mostly from a breakdown. And by the time he left, I think he was close to a breakdown too (hard day), but he got me through.
- New calling--another one. Wish I had an awesome attitude about it to begin with. Teaching the CTR 6A class, and honestly they were so cute on sunday, I'm actually excited!
- Writing this now during the depate--can't even bring myself to watch it. Don't care to get political--but honestly I'm tired of it and don't like either of them. Reed would like to move to New Zealand--maybe that's not such a bad idea.
I know I've been tagged twice--I'm working on it but it might be after fall break.

Did you get released from scouts? That stinks about you ipod. Do you think the movers "misplaced" it?
Sorry you are so stressed. October is turning into such a busy month! And we only have the holiday bustle to look forward to! Here's the good news--IT IS RAINING! Yeah for the sod!
Hope that things turn around for you! And BTW I love the pictures of your kids by the water on your side bar. Where were they taken?
The problem is that you actually like Obabma and are afraid to admit it. Nobody likes Grandpa McCain - he's a crotchety old fart!
not excited to vote myself, and that totally stinks that you lost your ipod...congrats on unpackingthe last box...I just whittled out some cookbooks that I hadn't cracked open in a few years
